Welcome Note

At Haven of Hope Academy preschool, we are committed to creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We believe that every child is unique and deserves a learning experience tailored to their individual needs. A play-based learning activity makes up our regular curriculum that enables each child to develop their creativity, curiosity, and love for learning and learning from the word of God. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our students through a secure and welcoming environment.

As school and staff, we continue to be guided by a clear sense of purpose to provide a holistic children-centric values-driven education to prepare our pupils for their academic journey thereby building a solid foundation. Our program greatly emphasis on working in partnerships with parents/guardians’ support at home.  We are committed in working hand-in-hand with you to ensure the best experience for your child. Our dedicated team of teachers is here to support each child, guiding them through this important stage of learning and development.

Programs

We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the developmental needs of every child:

  • Day care (6 months to 10 months): a nurturing space for our youngest learners to explore their world in a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Crèche (11months to 2years 6months): fostering independence and curiosity with fun, hands-on activities. Introduction to tracing and recognition and identification of letters, numbers, basic shapes and colors through creative play and structured learning.
  • Pre-kinder (2years 6months to 4years): Building foundational skills in writing, literacy, numeracy, shapes and colors through creative play and structured learning. Preparing children for the transition to kindergarten with a focus on academic readiness, social skills, and emotional growth.

Curriculum

We run a combined curriculum (Hybridized Curriculum), that is, bringing other curriculum and incorporating them into the Nigerian curriculum to provide enriched and comprehensive coverage for a unique learning experience for our pupils. Cambridge curriculum is done in mathematics, English, science and computer studies. Nigerian curriculum covers subjects that promote our national values and religious beliefs.
